Monarch Butterfly Festival

Enjoy a day filled with music, arts and crafts, food and pollinator education at the annual Monarch ButterflyFest. The ButterflyFest will feature fun educational activities along with live entertainment featuring the bluegrass band Sawmill Ridge. Recreational Tree Climbing will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 8 and older. Tree climbing is a great way to challenge you physically while enjoying nature. Registration will be held at the ButterflyFest. Recreational Tree Climbing is sponsored by the Clark County Soil and Water District. Other activities include children’s story time and crafts, strolling entertainment, food trucks and more. Click here for directions to the Buck Creek Nature Park.

1:00 – 2:00 pm “If you Plant it They Will Come” presented by Chris Kline from Butterfly Ridge

2:00 – 3:00 pm Monarch Migration and Tagging Demonstration presented by Ruth Bowell
