NFL Flag Football Logo

Flag Football for boys and girls ages 6 - 14 (as of age of 9-1-08).  There will be  three age divisions.  This five on five game is more recognizable to football fans.  The offensive team plays for a first down at midfield and a touchdown at the end zone.  Running and passing plays are allowed, although there are "no running zones" at midfield and near each goal line.  The defensive team covers receivers, rushes the passer,  and grabs flags to make "tackles".  Games and practices will be in Snyder Park  beginning in September and running through October.   All participants will receive a reversible NFL sponsored game jersey.  

 Registration fee is $20.00     Registration deadline is July 18, 2008

Pepsi and N.F.L.  Punt, Pass, and Kick     September  13  10:00am   at Davey Moore Park

Punt, Pass, & KickSponsored nationally by Pepsi and the National Football League, the NFL Pepsi PUNT, PASS & KICK program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 8 -15 to compete separately against their peers .Established in 1961, the PPK Program is the oldest NFL Youth Program. Girls and Boys in four separate age divisions (8-9, 19-11,12-13 and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.

This event is not limited to Clark County residents it is open to everyone. However, participants may only compete in one local competition per year. The program is conducted locally by the National Trail Parks and Recreation District.
