3rd, is the date for the annual celebration of Independence
Day with the 16th Annual Old Fashioned Country Fireworks display presented by Rozzi's Famous Fireworks.
This celebration is
held at the Clark
County Fairgrounds and is free to the public. In addition to fireworks, there will be live music, sponsored by WKSW
Kiss Country 101.7. The gates, for this alcohol-free family event,
will open at 6:00pm, music starts at 7:00pm and the Fireworks are at
10:00pm (or when dark enough).

by the National Football League, the NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 8 -15 to compete separately against their peers.
Established in 1961, the PPK Program is the oldest NFL Youth Program.
Girls and Boys in four separate age divisions (8-9, 19-11,12-13 and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.
This event is not limited to Clark County residents it is open to everyone. However, participants may only compete in one local competition per year. The program is conducted locally by the National Trail Parks and Recreation District.

Calling
"Santa Calling" gives Clark
County children the opportunity to talk directly with "Santa."
Santa will call children in December. All
children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades receive a sealed envelope
containing a "Santa Calling" registration. You can also obtain a
form from our administrative office.

Clark County Local Competition May 8

The Major League Baseball
Pitch, Hit, Run Program is a skill development competition conducted in
cooperation with Major
League Baseball, Youth 7 - 14 years of age
may compete. The competition will be held at the Carleton
Davidson Stadium. The winners of local finals will move on to
sectional competition, and may move on to regional (Cincinnati
Reds) Game, and nationally (Major League All Star Game). Players will
be tested on hitting from a tee (for distance and accuracy), running the
bases (for speed), plus pitching (for accuracy). This
event is FREE.
NOTE:
Please bring a birth certificate or baptismal record and understand that
parents or guardians must sign the registration form and metal spikes are
not permitted.
