Davidson Interpretive Center - Front View

The center is located west of George Rogers Clark Park

Come tour the center which includes interpretive displays and educational programs about the Revolutionary War's battle of Peckuwe (August 8, 1780) and the Shawnee Village of Peckuwe, the native Woodland Indians who inhabited the area.

Volunteers Are Needed

 

The National Trail Parks and Recreation District is looking for people interested in volunteering at the Davidson Interpretive Center.  The center includes interpretive displays and educational programs about the Revolutionary War's Battle of Peckuwe (August 8, 1780) including the Shawnee Village of Peckuwe. Volunteers will learn to provide interpretive tours, operate the reception desk, operate the gift shop and be available for special programs. Volunteers are expected to complete the application process and attend training. To become a volunteer persons should contact Penny at 882-6000.
