For over a decade, the Friends of Snyder Park, a committee of local residents, have worked tirelessly to identify capital improvement and maintenance projects to preserve the history of the park. The Friends most recent project, Bethie’s Sprayground, provides a healthy, safe and free water activity for the children of Clark County.
With the completion of Bethie’s Sprayground the group decided to expand their mission to support the activities and scope of the National Trail Parks and Recreation District and not just limit their focus to Snyder Park. The Partners for the Parks, formerly the Friends of Snyder Park, now support and promote the parks and their positive influence on our community. Contributions to support the parks may be made to the Partners for the Parks fund at the Springfield Foundation.
